Bake to Live; Live to Eat

The Beginning
My name is MK
and my baking journey began with a batch of chocolate-chip cookies which turned out pretty delicious...
But they were very soft and lumpy.
Frustrated by their texture, I went onto Youtube, searching on tips and ways to make "crispy yet chewy" cookies.

And there under the "Recommended Videos" tab, I saw a link to "How to Make French Macarons". With nothing but sheer audacity, I challenged myself to make macarons instead of cookies. Afterall, how hard could it be to bake something with just a few ingredients (i.e. egg whites, almond flour and sugar)?

Turns out they ARE really difficult.
But with each failed attempt, I was more determined than ever to get these baked right.

Dozens of rounds of trial and error later, I got a bit more hang of making these little, finicky and fastidious treats.
Have a look at my past baking projects, and feel free to reach out with any questions.
